• The Platinum uses a brand new, state of the art SMPS (switch mode power supply) to deliver consistent power across the plates in the ionizing chamber without creating heat.
• The Platinum delivers 300 Watts of power. Our engineers have determined from extensive testing that adding more power would be detrimental to the life of the platinum coating on the titanium plates. That means the Platinum offers the optimum amount of power for ionization, which is a key factor in determining the performance of a water ionizer.
• The Platinum has 7 large titanium/platinum slotted plates. The slots are designed to allow the entire plate to be utilized, thereby maximizing efficiency, and the life of the plates. Our engineers have determined that increasing the size or number of the plates would simply be a marketing gimmick.
