An under counter water ionizer has great visual appearance, as you only see the tap. These units are ideal when there is limited counter space, or for those who prefer not to see another appliance. However, the under counter unit costs more to produce, as it requires a tap with two spouts (one for alkaline water and one for acidic water from the waste line), and it requires a small built in keypad or video screen.

The Chanson VS70 has been around for six years, so it has had a chance to work out the kinks in the product. We eliminated a couple of units from the competition due to quality concerns. That narrowed the field down for us to the VS70, and the Jupiter Delphi, which was introduced in 2008. The VS70 produced superior results and is easy to use.
