The leading manufacturers of water ionizers created seven plate machines in 2008 as a competitive response to the claims being made by Enagic, the Multi-Level Marketing company. Enagic rightly claimed that their seven plate water ionizer produced superior results to the five plate ionizers under certain conditions.
